Anil Kumar, PhD, AEP, CSSBB

Anil Kumar is a Managing Engineer at JFAssociates, Inc. based in the Washington, DC area. Dr. Kumar has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University, Michigan. He is also a certified black belt. His areas of specialty include time and motion study, work measurement and analysis, product design, work-related musculoskeletal disorders, low back injuries, and safety. Dr. Kumar is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, and the International Society for Occupational Ergonomics and Safety. At present, he serves as the treasurer of the International Society for Occupational Ergonomics and Safety. In 2010, he was elected as the President-Elect of the International Society for Occupational Ergonomics and Safety. He is co-author of a number of international journal publications and has made presentations at a number of prestigious Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics conferences.
